We know that sometimes it can be difficult to get to classes, so we would like to offer an additional class on Saturdays near Lake Eola. If you are interested, let us know by email or phone.  We are back again! Hsin Yung I-Chuan will be returning to Central Florida's premier event for vegetarian and vegan food and culture. We will be presenting a full demonstration at 4:50 in the main performance area and will be doing regular scheduled demonstrations and workshops at our usual booth.
 This family-friendly event includes art and crafts vendors, exhibitions and cultural demonstrations, music, and dance performances. We encourage visitors to come out and spend the day enjoying Asia Fest, and the Orlando International Dragon Boat Festival, which will feature dozens of competitors paddling colorful boats with dragon heads on the vessels’ bows. Drummers aboard the boats keep their crewmates paddling in unison.
Hsin Yung I-Chuan will not be performing, unfortunately, but we will be in attendance. Look for us in our trademark red silks!  On Sunday, October 6th, Hsin Yung I-Chuan will be performing at Wat Florida Dhammaram Theravāda Buddhist Temple and Monastery. In addition to live performances, there is an all-you-can-eat service of authentic Thai food!
Ladies and gentlemen, this is it! This is the premier event of the year for Chinese martial arts, and Hsin Yung I-Chuan is going to represent for the 4th year in a row! Shifu Sam will be taking his usual spot as an official judge for the 16th year of the tournament's 26-year history. In addition, Students Wendy and Brandon are competing on June 29th, with the former doing Tai Chi Open Hand in the Beginner division, and the latter in Open Hand and Tai Chi Sword for his final Intermediate showing! Brandon will also be competing in Push Hands on June 30th, so don't miss out on Tai Chi principles in action! A celebration where everyone in the world will be practicing Tai Chi at the same time, producing and spreading Tai Chi energy everywhere! You can also stay for Tai Chi and Qigong demonstrations from your truly, as well as a BYOB picnic lunch!  Join us on Sunday, February 25th for the annual Lunar New Year Dragon Parade. Sifu Sam and Assistant Sifu Brandon will be performing along with the Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce of Greater Orlando, so look for us in our trademark red silks!  Join us on Saturday, April 20th, as we celebrate the biggest and longest-running Earth Day celebration in Central Florida! Sifu Sam and Brandon will be at their usual booth, and will have a performance of our Tai Chi and Qigong at 4:50. Additional performances may be added, but come out and say hi anyway!
Central Florida Earth Day - Home (cfearthday.org) Come to Avalon Park on Sunday, March 10th for Asia Trend's annual Lunar New Year Festival. There will be vendors, food trucks, and performers from all corners of Asia. Sifu Sam and I will not be performing, but we will be in attendance, so come and say hi!  |
